New County HDOs

Surrey HA is pleased to announce the appointment of two hockey development officers (HDOs) for the County.

Stacy Main will support the East of the County, inside the M25 and below the A3. Stacy currently plays for Holcombe and coaches at Sutton High School for Girls as well as at Surrey JDCs and JACs.

Haylie Saunders will cover the West of the County, outside the M25 and above the A3. Haylie stays in Woking during the week where she is Director of Studies at Halstead School, but then escapes to Dorset at the weekend where she has previously coached  County teams.

Both our HDOs are level 2 coaches who will be helping to support and promote hockey in schools and clubs. Their activities will predominantly focus on school years 5-8, introducing hockey to primary schools and organising mini-festivals including the existing schools and club mini championships.

If your school needs any help or advice with organising hockey for children in these age groups, please contact Stacy or Haylie.
