Nancy Albright Award
This award was first awarded by the Surrey Ladies Hockey Association in memory of one of their former presidents, Nancy Albright, in recognition of services to Surrey Hockey. This can be for playing, administration or any other reason that the committee feel justified.
Since the merger of the Men’s, Ladies’ and Mixed Associations in 2000 the winners have been:

2002 | Peter Redshaw | Awarded on retirement for many year’s service as midweek Umpires’ Appointments Secretary. |
2003 | Becky Duggan | Awarded for selection to the England Junior Squad. |
2004 | Richard Nixon | Awarded for many years’ ongoing service organising junior hockey. |
2005 | Chris Burton | Awarded for many years’ ongoing service running the Surrey elements of the South League and as Saturday Umpires’ Appointments Secretary. |
2006 | Lorne Barnard | Awarded for being selected for all England Junior age groups. |
2007 | Abi Harper | Awarded for representing both England and Great Britain at various age groups. |
2008 | Sarah Bray | Awarded for pitch side first aid to a fatally injured young player. |
| 2009 | Julia Woolley | Awarded on retirement after over 20 years as Treasurer. |
| 2010 | Sheila Plant | Awarded on retirement after nearly 50 years' service in a number of roles, including President of the former ladies' association. |
2011 | Sean Edwards | Awarded for progression through the ranks of junior umpiring and on to the national list. |
