School-Club Links
 
The Active Surrey Sports Partnership, in conjunction with local authorities, schools and sports organisations, has developed a School-Club Link Guide and Toolkit. The toolkit provides guidance on how to develop and sustain a partnership, roles and responsibilities, and suggested methods of review, feedback and quality assurance. ClubsFirst In Surrey

 

ClubsFirst is an accreditation scheme being promoted by England Hockey as part of the wider Sport England Clubmark Programme and is intended to help Clubs provide a safe, effective and child friendly hockey environment.

It aims to take best practice already in use in many Clubs and set it down formally so that all can have the same standards and, importantly, be seen to be applying them.

 

 

The following clubs in Surrey have achieved the ClubsFirst accreditation:

Surbiton Hockey Club
Wimbledon Hockey Club
Woking Hockey Club
